Our Story




My Chocolate is based in Novi Sad. Up here it’s too cold to grow cocoa beans. But it´s hot enough to have a love affair with great chocolate. Novi Sad is a very old city with a highly vibrating pulse and plenty of room to nurture a new kind of chocolate. Since we began in 2011, a lot of people have shared our desire. Not just for what we do, but apparently also for how we do it. We appreciate that. And how do we do it? Well, we just add a bit of new to the traditional, and there you have the best of both. New Nordic urban gourmet chocolate in a beautiful marriage with old production traditions for handmade goodies. In a historic setting even.

To create our products, ingredients have to come together from all over the world in just the right way. The direct relationship with each supplier in the bean to bar process is vital and we practice ethical stewardship to ensure everyone benefits. All of our ingredients are carefully screened and 3rd party verified to ensure they meet our standards for social and environmental responsibility. If you’ve ever had a Theo treat, we hope you’ll find that our love for creating delicious chocolate is evident in each bite. Using chocolate as a base, we are always experimenting to find delicious, unexpected flavors – as well as new takes on old classics. We’re committed to using only the finest quality ingredients that meet the same high standards as our cocoa.
